Royal Wedding Part I–Seasonal Sundays #47

Seasonal Sunday Teapot resized

Welcome to Seasonal Sundays #47.

Blurred Invite

My daughters and I decided we should have a party to celebrate the Royal Wedding. How often does a Royal Wedding happen? Let’s have fun and make a memory.

Royal Wedding 222

We had a veil on the door to set the mood and welcome you (it was one of my daughter’s Communion).

A little tulle draped over the mirror…

…and a bouquet of fresh roses …

…set the mood.

Roses, ivy, tulle and pearls draped the bannister…

…in celebration.

The mantel was also decorated for the event.

Did you watch? It was a bit like watching a mature fairy tale. She became a princess, but after being with him for eight years and having a better understanding for what she was getting into.

Some silver (great buy at Saver’s)…

…set the stage (This beautiful teapot was from my spectacular day on Portabella Road in London several years ago. Silver teapots were flung over the stands like they were nothing).

Royal Wedding 207

Pearls and tiaras…

…were on display.

A little crown key chain was the party favor.

Come back to see the rest of our Royal Wedding Celebration, including… the table.

What a gorgeous table in the honor of the Royal Wedding... I couldn't take my eyes off the tv yesterday reminicing about Princess Diana and what's she missed out on... so sad and her son William and Kate looked so happy wishing them the best... this post was just beautiful.... love it!

I love the tiaras! Very cool! I didn't watch the wedding live but I did DVR it and woke up early on Friday morning to see the recording. I fast-forwarded to the good parts when everybody was arriving and then watched from there. Then I had to go to work. Beautiful wedding!

What beautiful decorations! It looks like the party was wonderful. My friends and I celebrated with a Royal Wedding slumber party (we are on the West Coast, so we literally had to stay up the whole night to see it, since BBC's coverage started at midnight and the wedding wasn't until 3 our time). We had tiaras, wedding cakes and a little bubbly. The wedding was so beautiful and Kate looked absolutely perfect. It was a lovely day.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and inviting me to link up to this. What a wonderful blog party to add to my list. Have a wonderful Sunday!

Hi Kathleen
I was stunned by all the beauty you prepared for us to watch!
All so inspiring... and fit for royalty, I dare say!
I'm glad I found your blog and could admire your talented arrangements!

Wasn't it a lovely wedding? I was in bed by 1 a.m. and up by 2 a.m. to view everything live (and prep for our brunch later that morning...)

Looks as if we found the same "favor" company :0) The crown key chain was one of our prizes here - I found similar bookmarks to give as favors also. Makes me want to have another Royal affair of some sort!

Beautiful details captured so nicely. I wish I was a better photographer... I always forget to get those shots at my own parties but remember them for my friends gatherings. I have a hard time doing it all, I suppose. You have a gift :0)

Have a wonderful Mother's Day,
