Blue Winter Mantel

It’s time for a change!
The Christmas mantel is tucked away.

Now it’s time for a change. Even the lamp shades on the sconces that surround the mantel were changed.
Bring on the BLUE!
It’s time for WINTER.

Loving your winter blues! The scarf is a nice touch.
Cold and wet here all day, so I started the yearly closet project. LOL Making good progress too. Five full bags to take to the thrift store tomorrow.

What a delight! I just love blue and white together. You designed such a beautiful mantel for winter. It looks so clean and fresh and. well... wintery.
I love the large platter and the plate holder with the spoons.
I also noticed that you put a pretty runner in a casually drapped way on the one side of your mantel. I think that is a brilliant idea! It gives a lovely softness to your vignette.
As usuall a lovely visit!

I adore blue and entire house is blue and white!
Your mantel is an amazing change, isn't it? I used to change things around with the seasons, but I love things the way they are right now. Or could it be that I'm getting older and am not as creative as I once was??

Love the blue mantel. Blue is my favorite color and it does seem to lend itself to winter scapes. Love what you have done with your mantel. Great mirror.

Your mantle is fabulous! You might guess I'd love it with the blue on there ;o) but I'd never have thought of using a scarf at all. I may just have to steal that idea from you at some point in the future - hope you don't mind?
Best wishes

That is just lovely. I really love the draping of the scarf? You did it beautifully and it is much harder to get that look than one would think. It really all came together and changing the shades is a great tip!

Nice to see your beautiful blue china shown off. Looks terrific on your mantle!

It looks very pretty! Love the scarf! I must work on mine. I don't do much as that is the only place I display the family pics, so they have to stay! Ready
for the next storm? We got another 5 Sat night, I know you didn't. It's an ice skating rink out there!
Seems like you are going to get more in there than us this time. Share and share alike! :)

I really love poring over the details in your blog's photos. Noticed that pretty tassel hanging on the candlestick. Is it blue & white china, too?
